I understand trucks have issues and even read much about how Internationals and Volvos break a lot.
I'm sharing my experience which has been terrible, it's not fun breaking down all the time.
If it was just ugly, uncomfortable and rattled a lot but reliable I'm wouldn't be saying much of anything but this thing keeps falling apart on me.
whatever anyway I will only be at Crete for a few more days with this truck then I'm off to Schneider and I'll share pro and cons of that experience including the truck.

I've noticed also that the Cascadia made in North Carolina is better built than the ones from Mexico. ...I'm driving a '13 Cascadia and have no issues with it...I'll say this much the Cascadia is light years ahead of what the century was.
Hegemeister and Dogals right foot Thank this. -
I get you and agree..All trucks have problems.
I haven't heard anything about a electrical problem..nor have I had any.
I know the 2014's have some check engine lights that come and go.
The biggest problem I have is with the Wingman anti-collision radar POS.
None of these work correctly for long.
I've had the Onguard as well..again a POS.
Brand New Cascadia problems I'm aware of through other drivers/IC's that I went through orientation.
Windshield Leaking
Electrical problems with windshield wipers, power windows.
Alignment on all axles
Surging when idling
Seat breaking
Exhaust leaks
Steering box/power steering pump
T680 problems:
Check engine light popping on/off
Fuel tanks not equalizing
HVAC leaks from clogged up drip pan
So saying the Cascadia has the least amount of problems is inaccurate..plus the T680 is a newer design.
Granted there are ALOT more Cascadia's on the road..which is why we hear more about them.
Regardless of what you drive quality has taken a back seat to churning out massive numbers of trucks. -
I don't think it's not accurate at all. 1 of 3 new otr trucks are Cascadia's, so obviously your going to have a long list, but on your list I didn't see anything very serious. There is a reason for this, you can bet it's about dollars and cents. No longer do most companies buy on emotions, instead they do CTO analysis on their trucks from the first mile to the last.

One important thing is with the large amount of cascadias on the road problems are gonna get found a lot faster and corrected a lot faster. The shops find them, report them them to freightliner, who in turns releases memos to address the issues that are found. All that adds up to faster repairs and less downtime.
Hegemeister Thanks this. -
Every FL dealership I have called to get my seat fixed is a 2-3 day wait because they only do 1st come 1st serve. So much for less down time.freightwipper Thanks this.

keep your door shut and stay away from the buffets. problem solved.
EggoTrucker and freightwipper Thank this. -
I'm having a hard time getting motivated to go back to work after taking six days off...
Dogals right foot, dieselfuelonly and popcorn169 Thank this. -
that 6 days off cost you roughly $1000 in that truck sitting.. motivated now?
-
Nope.... Well saved up for taking time off....
But I guess it's time to roll, need a rest....
