I hear that, quitting a company without a job is better then driving for a company where the paychecks are very little.

You dont have the hours to make a delivery and need an appt changed yet you cant get 2500 miles per week?

Your preplanned well in advance and have every option to refuse a load you dont have the hours to run.Ive refused countless loads at NCI due to not having enough hours to run them, WHY?? Because I bust my ### and run my hours to the max.

This one in particular, is good. Not only do you contradict yourself, but your own words say you are lazy and don't want to work.

How can it be both? I'm so confused.

If they give you plenty of time to deliver the load, why would you need the appointment reset due to lack of hours? I'm sure there is a perfectly good explanation.

The parts in bold are from your initial post. Contradict yourself much? After one (1) week, you have completely opposite stories, or views, of and about the company.

Why are you willing to take less than a thousand per week? Pay is going up every where- it's easy to get that much

the first post was mostly for me. I was trying to see the positive in this place. the other parts I left out. 3 key things stuck out in my mind in orientation. it's the drivers fault, retaliation, and we stick you with a service failure. big red flag I found out in orientation that the recruiter was a contractor working from home some where in this country. got lied to about that. company drivers are forced to follow routing by dispatch. they've nearly ran the truck out of fuel 2 by setting the fuel stops too far apart. they are also trying to get drivers to pay for low ticket items like tolls, scales, and other stuff. the trucks are really nice. grossly under power causing them to get bad fuel mileage. the truck I have. have the engine brake switches, and no engine brakes. plus the transmission is going out. most of the people in the offices and other departments, are stubborn. where other companies set up preplan info so you can get it after mt call is sent. here. you have to call in and have them send it to you. which makes it hard to do the job. another part is. dm's will calculate your hours and tell you what what break to take. and what time you have to start working again. the one I have. seems to like talking to drivers as if they were little children then the adults we are. things that are coming to starting to surface. you tell them that you are going to be a little late on pick up or stops. due to either slow slow lumpers or hos time. you can look forward to an argument or nothing being done at all. it's kind of funny and sad all at the same time. they are still trying to run fast loads in slow e-log trucks.from what I gather. I am the only one that notices that. they also want all breaks to be taken during loading or unloading. or waiting in line for either one. the only ones I've seen that like it here. are retirees with social security and medicare to back them up. or people too dumb to realize what they are doing. are they a good job? it really depends. if you want new truck to sleep in and a little eat'n money. then I guess you could say it's a good job. if your mindset is like mine. and you need to make a real living to keep a roof over your head and a table to put food on. then they are not good for that. they really don't get into health insurance. other then the 90 period you have to be here. 401k is after one year. no more then I make. I think it will be a better investment. to save the $52 dollars and buy a case of toilet paper. it's pretty sad that I am sitting wondering if mcdonalds is still hiring. the pay there is starting to look better.

$200 for all week night&day ....i think i would blow a fuse too ,but the real question is : how did you get there @$200 a week ? .....drivers are in high demand right now , there lots of driving jobs to pick
from ,drivers are pretty much writing their own checks right now ....what are you worth ?

I can not think that the OP has any credibility after looking at his other posts, $200.00 a week on 2500 miles? whats the rest of the story?
