Otr or frac sand hauling

    I have the opportunity to go otr @ .42 per mile through CO, OK, TX, LA, MO, NE AND KS averaging about 2300 miles per week. Or I can haul frac sand in NE Colorado. Otr is out 2 weeks and home 2 days, sand hauling is on call 6 days a week and sleeping at home every day. They both have their pluses and minuses. I have been running a dedicated route for the last 2 years as a team and I am bored out of my mind. Both jobs would be a welcomed change but having a hard time deciding. Both companies want me to start this coming Monday. Any suggestions?

    What I heard of frac business, it's not going well than what dad and i expected. My dad had worked on frac sand since 2009. What dad noticed since last year that they don't him empty. He pulled company trailers. The longer the routes are, the more they charged him. we think we are going for otr and have our own trailer.
