You'll go out with a mentor driver (not a trainer) you don't need a trainer, you just need to be familiar with Roehl's procedures and policies. This is only a maximum of 7 days (usually determined by the mentors evaluation ) Most experienced drivers catch on in 5 days or less, the hardest part for most exp. drivers is having to do everything legally.

Well Im doing alot of homework on companys, and I think Ive come up with a few.. Plus Ive had a few offers that I deffently dont want. I dont know if I want to go out already and sweat my balls off this summer inside a truck..? Im not broke, so its not a matter of survival for me. Its trying to find a company that actually, and could possibly have there #####
together completely. So I have one who is very high on my list. Plus they start you out at $.32 and or $.34 a mile and thats practical miles. not the cump change most are offering. One company has trucks all less then 3 years old, and all come with a refrigerator.?
and thats a plus.. I rate it high because they are also not charging there new students anymore then Roehl for training.. Not one of those fricken CDL mills.. very good pay when you go out with trainers too.!
Weeks one and two - First 14 days of training = $500.00 per week
Week 3 - Days 15 through 21 = $550.00
Week 4 - Days 21 through 28 = $600.00
Week 5 - Days 29 through 35 = $650.00
Weeks 6 and up - Days 36 and up = $700.00
Now thats cool if you want or need a few more weeks of training, and at that pay it would be a plus to just hang out and learn from an expert driver.- Caterpillar Multi-Torque Engine. 380-430 HP
- 10 speed, 13 speed, and auto shift Transmissions,
- ABS braking with traction control
- Refrigerator
- Aluminum Wheels
- Touchless 5th wheel release
- VIP interior
- Customized storage capacity
- Double bunks (upper and lower)
- Crank out vent windows in the sleeper with screens
- Dash mounted AM/FM radio with weather band\Summit driver comfort seat
- Power locks and windows
Plus you can train in Ohio and be home every weekend. Now I wished I would have seen this before going to Roehl.. Gunner If interested pm me and I will tell you who it is. -
Well that sucks Can't PM ya got to have 50 posts
-
yea I see that now too, wouldnt let me pm either...
I dont want to post it online, it could create a mass exodus to that carrier and screw us both.
Well figure out something..its worth it in my opinion.

Secrets, secrets are no fun, unless you share them with everyone. *cough*mills*cough*

I also went thru the school, with similar positive reviews. I've had 4 DSR's since training, including my Evo III DSR. Each has been progressively worse. I blew up at my new one earlier this week, because he was trying to tell me how I was going to drive the truck. This is the first time I've had a prob with them interfering with me like this. I'll post again on Roehl's primary prob.

Roehl seems to do very well when there are no problems (duh). However, when something comes up, you'd think Godzilla attacked Marshfield. It becomes a game of passing the buck to customer service to load planners to DSR to me to DSR to Load planners...continue ad nauseum. Always CYA.
Again, if you are running smooth and making appointments, they seem to have a load ready MOST of the time. If you start running late or don't take a load, the load planners seem to go to react mode, rather than planning ahead for you.
Any other drivers, tell me if this makes sense.
Currently looking at other companies, but don't want to give up on Roehl just yet.IRISHGYPSY Thanks this. -
Oh your one of those.!
Nice try, but no prize. Please play again.
clue: what I posted above , has no bearing on my pm. lmao@you. -
Ah, so there is another company out there with the exact same package, huh? Sure.
-
Better then = pm
But thanks for playing.
