I need a trucking job with a carrier that I can call my home.

RBI is very picky, its not like it used to be, years ago if you have a cdl and clean mvr you could go to work just about anywhere but not today. I know a lot of people who don't know anything about trucking who believe this and I always have to explain to them that trucking companies tear your background to pieces, its not as simple as filling out an application anymore.

 

try working for a company that has trucks, but isn't a true "Trucking Company" you should consider driving for a Grocery Chain all on pallets and you not running crazy, you will have to be "ON TIME'

 

Unemployment still sux, so even for crappy jobs, if I had other Applicants, I would think twice about hiring someone that's worked at 6 jobs in 3 years.
At the very least the App would go to the bottom.

Training, Orientation (+Bus Ticket or other Transportation for Trucking).

 

Yeah, totally agree. We go through all applicants with a fine-toothed comb and if we do bring them in for an interview then we make sure to ask and find out the story (after talking to the company of course).
