AMEN!!! thats what I was saying. my point wasn't whether or not I drive 60mph or whether I didn't.point I was making was it amazes me how many people out here think that driving a fast shiny truck means more to them than making a decent living. point I was making show me,please show me where driving 75-80 miles an hour can make me any more money than driving 60-65. when by time mister super trucker gets 20 miles up the road he is probably going to stop get coffee pump fuel and jump back on the highway just as I'm blowing by him as he is coming off the ramp....LOL.so tell me more about how boring it would be going across Tx. at 60-65mph. what did super trucker really gain by blowing by me...your right pin ball you hit the nail on the head

Have you ever noticed that the "fast" drivers will pass you twice in one day? Pay attention and see how many trucks pass you twice. I never have trouble finding a LEGAL parking spot. I have ZERO service failures. They're not gonna change me.
NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
lol the people that say there fine with it are driving slow trucks, and because you make .43 CPM you think you make more? That's not always true. I'd go crazy driving 60 mph all day every day. I'll take my 3500 miles + a week with a 70mph hour truck all day!
Yall be safe nowDark_Majesty_06 Thanks this. -
Your not going to change my mind hotrod. Quit trolling around and trying to start something. You drive however you choose. I really don't care.

I've been hearing that excuse going on 18 years now. Everything else aside, miles, money ect, you'd be surprised how stressed you are after fighting traffic all day at 70 mph plus. I slowed down when I got my own truck in '06, besides the fuel savings I'm not a stresssed out mess at the end of the day either.
Give it an honest try, you may be surprised, I was.Pin Ball, T_TRUCKER⢠and NavigatorWife Thank this. -
My first company I was with I was at 63. I honestly don't find myself stressed, if I get stuck behind a slow truck or car, I'll just ride it out until I can safely pass.
And pin ball, I'm not trying to change anyone's mind, nor am I "trolling around" lol and I really wasn't starting anything, or even trying too. Simply giving my opinion. It doesn't bother me in the slightest that you like driving slow. I don't, that's all.Lonesome Thanks this. -
Two things you need to consider as truth
One is the actual speed is determined by the total time between when you loaded, departed and the time you arrived and got unloaded...and second, how much you grossed during that period.
Divide gross income by the time ( less your hours off) and that is what you are really making. Time equal money no matter how you slice or dice it.cforestr Thanks this. -
