I know its be 7 weeks now since Prime Henderson merged had SW/SE runs some to Michigan, been to Primes yard in PA,so what will happen to Henderson, cause I try to hook on one trailer they told me they have to purchase it change all Lic# plates and most of the EZH trailers that I try to take were put out of service "red tagged" and I mean all the ones I saw in Santa Anna,CA since Prime took over some four weeks ago,I do know that per miles went from .36 to .39 in two weeks I guess till you hit cap .43 + maybe more but I'm not sure can anyone shed light on this. Henderson sold their equipment to Prime in order to raise operating cash...
Henderson is still a separate carrier running under their own MC authority. They're running on Prime's Advanced Fleet... that means they get access to Primes freight network, and are dispatched by Prime. -
So basically we all work now for Prime, not knocking them just want to know more. My truck has be in shop for abetter part of a week in NJ lost engine, they gonna get it fixed and if I heard right I don't get pay for down time,OTR out 5 weeks so I took my home time here family is near 4 days which they knew about,I had to wait for shop to open Monday last sat 6 days cause of Holiday,3 for engine work ( in all 12 days )I been in contact with shop, called shop they can't find paper work? got called some other prime driver was gonna get in my truck to get trailer, trail wasn't hooked to truck heading now 3hrs to shop. Hope I still got a truck and a job.???

yes but no. You get all the same perks but prime has no authority over you. They cant hire/fire or anything else. Just your dispatched by Prime and use their equipment and get their fuel discounts. Just opens up more freight lanes for both companies
Mike777 Thanks this. -
Henderson is not dispatched by Prime. Yes, there are currently Prime FMs and logistics staff on site assisting/shadowing/training Henderson FMs... And there are a couple fleets covered at night by Prime night dispatch.
That will come to end soon, and the Prime guys will be coming home. Henderson dispatchers will be on their own after that.
you can't argue that prime still dispatches them because our sales sends them the loads. Henderson dispatchers have the same power as Prime dispatchers to send back loads to sales for the same reasons a Prime dispatcher would. -
