TA in VA I-81, x 150 will close permanently on Nov 15, 2014

I stand corrected. Even though Petro-T/A are owned by same corp. I meant that they have branded truck stops in Wytheville, Lexington and Raphine so no need for another to replace Troutville. Thanks

 

the new I-73 intersection gonna come in where T/A lot is...vdot not gonna improve 220 and 581 there gonna build a new interstate to the east of martinsville an roanoke to merge with 81 south to 460 west as the new I-73....i wounder where the new dot scales going in at...

 

They've been building that interstate for years, ain't happening anytime soon, if ever. They are going to build one of those Chinese round-abouts where the T/A was to ease up the congestion in that area.

 

just cross the va line thay done started clearing the right of way,..its a coming,..but like most Federal highways,..itll be awhile,...nc been working 2 years on building the new highway from i-40 to va line...its a coming too,but not before the loop cross north side of greensboro...i ride round these areas daily...
