Basically I have a 2006 century with a deleted egr system, I'm losing coolant, I had an oil sample done , it came out really clean, I also had all the hoses and clamps checked and tightened, the weird thing is I lose coolant when I'm driving and the temps get down to 24 degrees and below, when the truck has been off over night, there is a tiny leak behind the bunk, this tiny leak has existed for 2 1/2 yrs tho, coolant loss is about 1 gallon a day when I'm driving in +24 and below, there is no white smoke out of exhaust pipes, again the oil is clean, there are no sign of bubbles, oil or fuel or any contaminated in coolant reseviour, truck performance is still the same . Any help pls 14 l detroit btw

Does the antifreeze look right, no oil film? Besides head or head gasket, water pump or heating system failure. There is the transmission oil cooler, if it fails your transmission gets filled with coolant, not good. It happened to me & cost me a tranny. One morning I started my truck & tranny fluid started leaking out of it in a big way, out of the shift tower. The coolant had completely filled the tranny until it was overflowing.
Just remove the fill plug on the side of your transmissio, it shouldn't be over full. Start the engine with the plug out, if there's water in there it'll start splashing & spraying out.
10 minutes of your time to check.

There is no sign of any contaminants in coolant overflow, it's strange that can happen though, coolant in transmissions. I will have it checked though, was the truck shifting fine when that happened

I took it to a shop right away. They drained off the excess and said "who ever filled it last over did it", lol. Off I went, every thing seemed fine for a few weeks. Until I had a load oof fat cattle (heavy, very heavy) in city traffic the tranny started howling, chattering, & slipping out of gear.

Do a thorough check of all hoses and the radiators. If it uses red coolant, it leaves a white residue where the leak is.
