Crude oil is $86 today.... beginning of the end?

it only takes 6 months to decimate the drilling though.

 

Crude down to $61 a BBL today ughhhh.

 

Officially out of here in a week and a half. I'm not going to change jobs, move my family here and then wind up out of work.

 

Wow. Props for putting your family first, but why not work out here while the gettin's still good? All my checks are still clearing and we're as busy as ever in West TX so it's clear there's still money to be made.

Either way, good luck and again, I think it's admirable you're putting your family first in your mind.

 

My family is the only reason I am down here. Family is about as important as it gets, and despite making decent money here I can make about the same back home once you subtract the costs. But then, I'm a mechanic, not a driver, so things are a bit different.

 

Not feeling it at the pumps though. Gasoline is still the same price it was several days ago.

 

I can get diesel for 2.78 and unleaded at 2.40. I haven't seen prices this low in forever

 

I bought gas for $2.24 Tuesday night, down from $2.44 about 2 weeks ago.

 

Paid $2.79 today. Dirt cheap by Chicago standards.

 

Extremely different!!! No matter what, they need to take care of the tools. If they are trying to save money with you, I won't work for them.
