Is a 100 dollars a ton fair for hauling in a dump truck . I know it depends on situation . For milage I'm thinking 5 dollars a mile . Am I close here trying to form a template

$100/ton ? I doubt it. If you net 20 ton, that's $2000 ! Do 5 loads per day, that's $10 grand ! Daily ! Ain't happening Dude. Depending on what part of the country you're in, you need to "hope" to get $75-$100/hr starting at the job site.

The rock haulers around here are getting 7.50 a ton on a 45 mile circle hauling class seven to an interstate job. In terms of dump trucking it is a smooth turn.
I been running my hopper on a turn with some 42 ft end dumps. We been getting 82 a ton from Newport Ar to Post Texas.fireman451 Thanks this. -
Most quarry's/ pits around here shoot for $100 an hour. And use that as a guide when figuring the per ton rate......
