TCAM Driver, I'm interested in TA. I have 8 months experience within the last 3 years. None recent in the past 12 months. Ive had a few jobs as well. If I applied and was approved, you think I'd go solo out of orientation, or would I have to go with a trainer? Also, do they get you a bus or rental car to make the trip to orientation? BTW, im interested in SE regional. I live 60 miles from Knoxville Tn. Right off I75. Thanks for any help!

Just a reminder for everyone regarding our policy on soliciting referral/recruiting bonuses:

Thanks for the info. I asked about Walmart for the simple fact I live three miles from the Monroe Ga DC and figure it is a good load to get me home when I need to be. I prefer dedicated or regional accounts. Will you please PM me a recruiters name and number.
-
Wow throw a fit why don't you? What was I wrong about? I looked up the dedicated jobs on e services, and all those accounts it says right there where they hire from, Atlanta is not one of them. Didn't say you couldn't get one if you live there, but it's not the location listed. Yeah there's couple accounts there the poster already said that so duh they know. And yeah Walmart does take on average 4 hours to unload, unless you do d/h, that's why I said trust me you wouldn't want that dedicated if it existed haha.
Clearly you have issues, and you come off as some sort of company cheerleader. Since you're going to go ahead and act like you have my mo then I guess it's fair for me to say that the entirety of your posts even your name makes it seem like you are just a recruiter or phishing for recruit bonus.
I'm not the only one saying what I'm saying, I hear it from drivers every time I go to a support center, even if just overhearing it. I'm just trying to give an accurate picture, and if you think you will work at transport America and not experience a high proportion of runs under 300 mi then you will be unpleasantly surprised.
But please continue with your "actual facts" about things and keep suggesting people to contact recruiter as if any facts ever come from them. And while your at it keep insinuating that I'm not "a good driver" and can't make on time delivery or whatever... C'mon you've got nothing to base that on. You're whole attitude about just work hard and everything will work out great is outdated, ask anyone who gets fired months before penchant, or who lost retirement in 401k during economic meltdown. In a perfect world, your success would reflect what you put in, but that's a naive belief to have these days -
No one is recruiting.

Well, now because this Tarena has implied I'm some sort of recruiter or something the Forum police have locked me out of my account. Lmao. So oh well......just trying to help fellow drivers. This is what's wrong with people nowadays. Too many people worried about other peoples business.....that can't believe someone is just trying to help a fellow driver without seeking any financial gain! Ridiculous!
