The stupid town I live in, well if you walk in to a bar and a woman in a conversation asks, what do you do and you say I'm a truck driver, expect that conversation to end soon.
Now if you say I have a brokerage business expect her to stick around.
Hey Brokers why yall hiding?

Well, driver, I've been trucking 36 yrs and I sure have seen people wearing apparel that has their company broker name on them.
There are also some good brokers out there. If you are a top of the line trucker, you would get to know some.
These guys are the ones who call the truckers they know first, rather than just post out the loads on the internet.
Then they will check to see who's posted on the sites to find a good trucking co. before they post.
So, you may be one of the last ones to see a load that they might post.
And, if you are experienced, you will know how to find those brokers and keep a look out on their loads popping up.
The rest of the brokers you just have to deal with.
The cheap brokers, you either delete from your searches or tell them to go take a hike when they offer cheap freight.Straitliner and CaboverKid Thank this. -
Yes there are some good brokers out there. I have several that call me with good paying loads. This post is for the ones that lie, cheat & try to take full advantage of the truckers.

How do you know you havnt seen any brokers wearing company apparel? Do they all have to say (company name) brokerage, or (company name) freight brokers? There are alot of brokerages out there who just have a name only, with no association to anything in their name, and alot of em ending with 'logistics' or 'transportation'. I guess you just made this assumption since I see people all the time in apparel with these type of names on them...
astanbrough Thanks this.
