My husband failed his road test thrice and I am worried

    One thing the instructors stressed was repeating what the examiner said...
    Sample. Examiner. says... make a right turn at the next traffic light..
    Driver then says aloud... I'm going to make a right turn at the next traffic light.

    This way he's concentrating on where he's going and what to do. No time left to worry or stress out.
    Also gives students confidence they know what they're doing and if they heard the instructions incorrectly, time to correct.

    He failed a road test because he rolled through a yield sign? Maybe that instructor wasn't the brightest bulb in the bunch.
