Its just an effing job, but I do get a tear in my eyes sometimes when the sun rises while I'm driving and I can see pee bottles glistening on the shoulder of the road.
God bless america!
God bless the plastic bottle industry!
Thank god those truckers didn't throw those bottles at me.Sik_Life Thanks this. -
Great inspiration statement (I promise to pick up after others) as a way to help take care of this land I'm blessed to be a part of. I challenge other professional drivers to help those who are weeping sadness

Eh whatever dude. It's just a job, not rocket science and not some mission from god lol.

I'll tell you? I use to be proud of this industry, but seeing what it turned into? When I meet new people I reframe from telling them I drive a truck, see on most days, someone throw their piss bottles out a window and drive off, or throwing trash out their window and driving off, usually when I see this, I try and get numbers off the truck and call their company, if possible I'll take pictures too, as to picking up someone else's piss bottle? Sorry! Not with my hands

Proud? That is an interesting question. Am I proud in the work I do? Yes. Beyond that, I can't see why I would be proud to be a truck driver. I mean, what's there to have pride about? Turn on the cb radio, look at the filth behind the back row, the back biting drivers have against someone who doesn't look like, sound like, or act like them. To be a part of an industry where lying seems to be the norm, the me first attitude prevails, where the blame is quick and the good credit is slow.
