Never hauled propane, but I have drove tanker and half a load of liquid will move a lot.
So if you drop off the pavement the load will go to the right while you steer hard to the left.
Can you feel propane moving at half a load??
How did this truck get that way ?

Propane weighs 4.11 lbs per gallon. (Imperial)
-
And don't forget when you haul propane the rig actually gets lighter, or so I have been told.
-
They're lying to you. Helium tanks get lighter though.

not4hire and Freightlinerbob Thank this. -
If it gets "lighter", why do you need all the axles?
-
did no one read the name of the pic ? truck modified ??!!

Just had one with a supposedly empty Argon container tank end up on its side going 20mph on snaking pass.
Some sloshing liquid can cause issues if you throw steering one way then the other even a bit. -
It will not get lighter when loaded. Propane is transported as a liquid, but even as a gas it is about 1-1/2 times the density of air. (Safety note: propane settles in low-lying areas and depressions creating a hazard for both ignition and suffocation)
