    Hi to all.
My husband & I are soon to be sharing the roads with you. We are going to team for a company not sure for who yet? Do any teams out there have a company they would recommend? We are new to the trucking industry, so we welcome all the advice & direction.

I would recommend researching trucking companies that do dedicated automotive accounts . A lot of these type of account run out from same location and back 5 days a week and home on week ends. I know drivers in Georgetown KY that make $300.00 per day per driver

Do you know who does automotive accounts? I haven't heard of that as an option, but definitely would like to look into it. Thanks for your feedback, we really appreciate it.

Lots of companies haul auto parts; dozens of them.
Several companies that aren't too good for solo drivers, are real good for teams especially with hazmat endorsements and passport.

Here's some companies that run coast-to-coast if you don't want a boring standard routine hauling auto parts.

    Cargo Transporters
    Schneider
    Covenant
    Old Dominion
    Decker Truck Line
    Tyson Foods
    Pride Transport
    Freymiller

Pick one that looks good; you can always change companies in 6 months with no repercussions.

Chinatown none of these companies are automotive exclusive only companies . They are companies that are exclusive to automotive only. They don't haul common carrier frieght as the companies you listed

Hello Two new!!! Most of the small Trucking Companies will require that you both have at least 1 year of OTR verified experience for Class A Tractor. If you are Class B drivers,( Straight Truck ) it is 6 months verified experience. If you are just out of school getting your CDL's you will need to go work for a Big Company to get that experience. Once you have enough then you can apply to the smaller family based companies that are more personal and actually get to know you as a person. It depends on what you are planning on doing really. If you are wanting to go over the road or stay local or regional. Please feel free to ask me any questions and I will be happy to answer them for you.
