The issue ur/dispatcher cant find another driver...aint exactly true...the Carrier can broker out the load to another trucking company, where the new company will pickup your trailer and deliver the load; relief, get well & dont think twice about the load.

You should call safety in the morning and if your not feeling better go see the doc and make sure to tell him you drive a truck for a living. If the doc is worth a grain of salt he can give you some paperwork that your not fit to drive for 24 to 48 hours that you can give to the company. All that office rambo is trying to make his bonus and look good. A bunch of little things added up lead to major incidents. Good luck and be safe

I would have done this via Qualcomm, he can deny that you told him on the phone, he can't deny a Qualcomm msg, always give and get conversations via Qualcomm, that the proof you will need on any conversation you have, a phone call can't be proven unless you record it

Glad you are off the load. I'm gonna repeat what I originally said and others have also repeated.

    USE THE QUALCOLMM.

I can not stress this enough.

If you're that sick, maybe you should consider heading home and seeing a medical professional. I'm sure nobody wants what you have. I'm sure nobody wants to be there if you cave in and get in a collision. I hope the 24hr works for you.

Hi Starboyjim, Like I say, I've had this for 2 1/2 weeks, and the doctor says, there's really nothing they can prescribe ( which I found a little unsettling) and you just have to hang on to your bootstraps until it passes.

they beat me to it , USE THE QUALCOMM.... if u have a dispatcher who is trying to push you, he/she will also lie about the phone conversation. i know its a pain to go back and forth over the computer BUT IT COVERS YOUR REAR....anytime you have an issue DOCUMENT it on the Qualcomm....

Yes, you are just asking for anguish when you call him on the phone. You asked for advice. The best advice was to qualcomm dispatch you were sick and shutting down. Why did you call him instead? This whole ordeal would have been a non-issue if you had your conversation in writing instead of over the phone in the first place. If he calls you after that, tell him to send his instructions in writing to run sick. -- He wont do it.
