I wouldn't invest in gold now, if the rest of your post is true, the economy could take a wild swing on the up, and then what will happen to the price of gold? You got it, it will go down, just like it always does when the economy trends upwards.

 

do what 30 aught 6 says, and put a good 40k in a index fund that generates 5-8%percent return and compound it. Say you put 40k in, you would get a return of $3200 per year for doing nothing. The power of compounding is the foundation to wealth

 

Or you could take 40k and go on margin and double your money, and buy verizon stock, and get a dividend payout of .55cents per share
(1,777 shares x.55cps =$977 per 3 months and make $3,911 per year plus any gains in capital from the stock)

 

I agree to disagree,Heres the only problem with your Point of View the US GOVERNMENT can and will inflate the price of the U.S. Dollar anytime it gets ready,which means that bag of chips you bought for $1.00 is now $1.25 for what?what reason,is there a shortage in the potatoes with the farmers did they have a bad harvest due to bad weather? No,is the price of fuel high so the price at the store goes up? No,Did you get anymore of a FSC because of this?no? So why inflate the dollar?? Hmmm ugh i dont know maybe because they can,because they want to and will do.

The economy is getting better,but we are not out the hole yet,

The market needs to correct itself,once oil finds its new home,meaning PRICE,then everything else will fall in place
Opec is trying put the FRACKING companys out of business,once that happens,if it happens,then oil will go back up but not by much,but gas will rise a bit even tho oil is low,because of the different additives they add to the oil to make the gas,Thats where the money is the different blends

No matter what GOLD will hold its value,only hit it can take is if the dollar falls,DRASTICALLY and the Us Government wont let that happen,to much money comes in on the FOREX,over 4 trillion dollars daily,if i told you how i got the money to buy my truck you wouldnt believe me, lol,and they say truck drivers arent SMART lol

 

Man you guys are awesome didnt know that many truck drivers followed the MARKET LIKE THAT LOL,,,GOOD WORK

 

I am thinking right now is a good time to invest in OIL...the prices are dropping fast but,,,,lol, don't be fooled and think they won't go back up.

 

AAPL 4th qtr results are soon to be in so another good investment is to go long AAPL as it has a target of 150.00 share

 

If it helps a bit the 1st quarter is estimated to be low or steady
Just for the 1st quarter,i invest in future contracts,oil is currently trading at 54.75 on the OIL19Dec,14 contract,i have a margin account and just short the crap out of it,I wouldnt be surprised if its $40.00 a barrel by mid january,lol time to get ready for the next Contract for oil futures,lol $$$$$

 

Hmmm..i know they had a big problem with gtat the plant that was suppose to produce the sapphire glass for the iwatch,but that tanked,so they pushed it back til 1st quarter,they going with another company,$150 a share i say would be a long stretch it peaked at $120,they volume would have to massively increase,not saying its not possible,but i find Options more feasable than aquiring actual stock,I mean i by em cheap, wait for strike price,then flip the contract before expiry,,lol booyah like taking candy from a baby lol
