Anytime you can walk away from it and nobody was hurt you did a good job. Before I go back to work next month I am going to invest
in one of those dash cameras. I see a lot more of those kind of idiots driving these days and I want to cover my ### from getting the
blame for an accident if it isn't my fault. I am glad to hear the other truck drivers stopped to help you. A lot of these drivers now days
are in such a hurry they wont even stop.

A friend of mine from another company records every trip he makes and uploads them in 15-minute blocks to YouTube. He says its for protection and information. He doesn't say anything or use any music, just a sped-up record of every trip he takes. The amazing thing is, he doesn't use a camera. He uses he smartphone.

 

I only want to record the view of what is in front of me. I don't think it would be wise to record any sound.
Sometimes I let slip out some unpleasant comments about the driving abilities of other drivers...lol

 

Does anyone have any recommendations of a good brand of dash camera to buy? I don't care about the price so much
I want something that records a clear picture and isn't to complicated to use. I am going to wait till after Christmas to
go buy one, might be able get it on sale. a lot of stores drop prices after Xmas to get rid of overstocked merchandise.
