Man this boy is salty as heck, Lol. Sounds like your motivation for being an "adult" is finding people to rage at about a crappy life.

Thanks for all your input. I had finished my class-A courses, the recruiter knew I hadn't held my license yet we he started me on this path, but said I need to ask the DPS/CDL office about getting my class A permit once I possess my drivers license.
And to the enlightenment of any future pricks in this thread, my father and I -worked- together. If there was something I wanted, I could get it. We ate steak meals 2 times a day and a feast of a breakfast every morning. So no, I didn't exactly have a need for a car, or license, even though we lived way out in the sticks, rofl. And my record is spotless, no tickets, arrests, convictions, drugs, ect. -
Yes, thank you...that DOES clear it up. I understand the concept of "bait & switch" as well as "false advertisement".

Yes, but it will depend on the Trainer's experience.

So, I'm above the age requirement for companies to hire drivers, but I also obtained my class D drivers license later in life (personal decision.) Does this mean I am going to be stuck with a company like swift until I have a 3 year driving history? If Swift will even hire me that is.

I was interested in a tanker career, now that looks outta reach.

Is there anybody available to chime?
