If your at a oc yes they have heaters you can put in back of trl. If on the road just don't stop the vibrations will keep it from freezing unless the temps are extremely low. There's a message on QC explaining freeze protection also.
1girl1truck Thanks this. -
Thanks! I did get a Qualcomm message about temp protect loads a few weeks ago, but now I'm not in the same truck & the message is not on my current Qualcomm.

man this truck is really nice.. I'm soo glad I don't have a Freightshaker anymore.
-
Is it really true, you don't like freightliner?
-
Just so the entire free world, all the ships at sea, dictatorships, and any and all inhabited planets both within and outside our solar system are clear: could you clarify your position on Freightliner Trucks and their position in the hierarchy relative to Kenworth.
Inquiring minds WANT to know. We await your response with baited breath. -
this has been my experience in FLs:

Freightliner makes cheap throw away trucks which fits the criteria for mega fleets to buy and then throw their noob drivers into. Throw away trucks for the throw away drivers is the model it seems out there lol.
My experience with them has been horrible.. so many times I broke down and the interior rattled apart.
I'm not saying KWs are the best.. I don't think there is a "best" out there.
If my KW falls apart I will let that be known as well. Haven't driven it much but the quality of materials and thought that went in the truck compared to the FL is totally in a different dimension.
So far the only like I like better about the FL vs my truck is the DD15 engine in the FL. The pull and feel of the DD15 felt better than my new Paccar BUT it's a brand new engine and will take some breaking into.Last edited: Dec 19, 2014

in about 3 weeks that perma-grin will be gone when you make that first payment, but ya, even in my company truck I still smile in the morning, enjoy that mattress
rickybobby and dieselfuelonly Thank this. -
I don't think so...
Loads on the load board are still looking good.
It's all relative.
Based on what I've seen and am seeing I'm not worried about money.91B20H8 Thanks this.
