Thats the most idiotic rambling I have read in a long time and I think I am actually dumber for reading it.Chewy352, Ditch Doctor and tucker Thank this.

If a motorcyclist chooses to not strap on a brain bucket and dies - that affects him and is his choice.
Now if a truck driver bounces into the passenger seat and proceeds to wipes out a school bus...
A driver's choice to not wear a seat belt shouldn't come at the expense of 40 kids. IMHOncmickey Thanks this. -
Sure glad I had mine on when I rolled. Coulda been a lot worse.
-
I'm glad I had mine on in my head-on crash, it kept me in the seat or I would of went out through the windshield and been run over by my own truck. PLUS, it held me in place when the truck rolled over, I was able to still be in the operating position and get the truck shut off.
This is why you should you should wear your seatbelt in any vehicle.

We need seat belts because of CR England
-
Well, if you believe what some drivers are trying to put forth, you don't need them, but when you see a CR England approaching your space, you can gather up your seat belt, and secure it before it's too late. No worries.

A flat deck driver in winnipeg died 5 days ago when his load of beams came through bunk when he made a hard brake to stop for a collision ahead of him.. Apparently he was a stickler for safety but was delivering someone else's load just down the road to the scrapyard and never added extra straps .. I wear mine all the time but if your numbers up not much you can do
-
Yep. We all have to die sometime. Why give more chances if we can avoid them?
bergy Thanks this. -
The simple fact of the matter is--there isnt ANY safety device that will do you any good in a catastrophic situation..it is all the other ones they help in--the pic of the seward truck--IMHO--is one example--full speed--head on to immoveable object--NOTHING gonna help--seatbelt--airbag-suit of armor...BUT---it is still one of the many tools you carry with you...and you need all the tools you can get...
