The locals did not want that there and are up in arms over it still.

Nobody ever wants trucks in their neighborhood,,, untill they need their furniture delivered.

I'm at this Pilot. I'm planning on staying the night. We shall see if anyone bugs me. I doubt it though as there are a couple of dropped trailers in spots.

I did my 10 hr break there with no hassles. Heck there were trucks parked all over the place in that lot when I left so clearly it's not enforced by Pilot or the local LEO's. The two overnight people inside seemed pretty cool so I don't think its a policy they really care to deal with enforcing, especially since they have their hands full with everything else.

Piolt.......I have not been to one in 6 months or so.......just for reasons like this, whether or not they enforce it is no matter. Are you kidding? The nature of their business is to accomodate large trucks, if the local municipalities want the signs up, Piolt should object to this citing the economic impact to their business. They won't, typical "gas and get lost" mentality.

For me (and others I know), we boycott Pilot. They can keep their $2 hot dogs!

I asked the manager when I was there last week, she said the 3 hr max was for dropped trailers. The sign should say that then

I asked about this the last time I fueled here and they said even the cops laugh at it. Probably something some city council person or whatever came up with to get a half dozen more votes.
