Mabe trucking co

From what I had heard they are a shady bunch. One of my friends worked there for a spell. He was saying when he was home they would send his truck out. And when it was time to return , his truck would be two days away. Home time out the wazoo, but devil of a time making any money.

I drive for Mabe's and I can tell you they are a good company. No company is perfect but you get back what you put in. I would not call them shady AT ALL. Great people to work for, it's like a big family. I drove for them 5 years ago and then took some time off and when I was ready to go back on the road there was no question where I wanted to work.

They will use your truck for part-timers while you're on hometime but I've never had to wait for my truck when I was ready to go back out. They have nice equipment too. Petes and KWs, nothing more than 4 years old. Drivers come and go, but 90% of the office staff and shop guys have been there for YEARS, maybe even decades. That should tell you something.

They have between 150 and 200 trucks (I get different answers depending on who I ask, lol).

 

Management changing logs once turned in is shady. They were convicted. Luck they are still open. Was talk of jail time. Jan 10 2012 Rodger Mabe Jr. plead guilty. Public record.

 

Funny how the positive rebuttals to negative posts about companies and their operations/treatment of drivers are almost always from new members with less than 5 posts...

 

I dont dispute that. I'm aware of the facts. You think Butch is the only one to ever do that? He just got caught. Are you going touché the whole company based on something that happened years ago?

I may be new but I didn't just join yesterday. I don't have a lot of posts because I don't run my mouth making lame jokes, throwing out unsolicited opinions, or bashing other drivers. If I wanted to run my mouth all day I guess I'd have hundreds of posts by now. Sorry, I'm too busy working.

Funny, I didn't even think i was rebutting anything. I thought I was answering the OPs request for someone with experience with the companh to give an opinion. Thank god you were here to let everyone know I'm just s troll whose comments are worthless. You saved the day, sir!

I've been here since 2008, and more often than not, it's a company plant who comes on and posts in an attempt to put out the fire. If I'm wrong, please accept my apology.
