Support shift must have started their holiday break early, I updated my NAT from the truck but still can't assign loads, so called in and I guess I'm going for a new record hold time now. I must be on at least round 10 of "ALL ASSOCIATES ARE STILL ASSISTING OTHERS, PLEASE CONTINUE TO HOLD AND THE NEXT ASSOCIATE WILL BE WITH YOU AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE, THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE".

I had an Issue with Non support shaft the other night...................let me start from the beginning, on Friday my Saturday load cancelled but I was sick so I didn't care I would just take my time on the load I was on which had plenty of time and I had 2 loads on Sunday (short one's) that i called the shaft to have them cancel since the load to get me to the area for the Short ones cancelled and they said no problem they're off you...I went to bed got up Saturday and leisurely drove to MD.
I get to MD and drop and Pick up MT and notice my 2 short loads which are 150 miles away are still on preassignment so I call my ICA who works Sunday and asked him to remove them and explain the previous. He informs me that they have no one to cover them since they are due to be picked up and delivered that day. I argue and I loose!! so I agree to do the loads but because of this I wont make on time pick up for my Monday load and he says I'll take it off you at which point I say LOUD AND CLEAR Do Not remove that load push out pick up it's my load home for Christmas which he agrees to do and actually did while I was on Phone.
So I get to C&S in Bethlehem and low and behold they don't open til 6 pm and it's 430 pm so I wait. ..................................................................................................................................................................................................................
At 6pm a JBH Dedicated driver comes over and tells us it's 7 pm on sundays so I wait. .............................................................................................
At 7 pm we get in and I wait my turn (20 minutes) and then I'm told by the Shipper no loads exist for SNI and they won't have any til Monday out to the truck and on the phone for 45 minutes at which point someone comes on and ask How may I help You..
That sets me off so I tell him the required this is driver ##### and he pulls me up and says whats going on I tell him everything and he says....................you guessed it hold on while I get customer service.....................................................................................
......................................................................... Hello this is ......... with customer service whats the problem so I TELL THEM THE PROBLEM then I tell them about the load issue.
He says can you wait 20 minutes and we'll try and figure it out I told him I'm not waiting 1 minute more even if they pay me 1000.00 per minute and I told him there's no way on GOD"S green earth I'm hauling theses 2 loads I'm Headed to carlisle I have no empty and I will take it up with my ICA monday morning.
I THEN SAID MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HUNG UP !!!!!!!
Screw 2nd and 3rd shift if I have a problem I will wait til ICA comes in and handle it PERIOD.
I'm done dealing with the incompetent 2nd and 3rd shift that is at SNI, Now not all are bad but until I can call the good one's directly any issue can wait til 1st shift.

Had a long wait in upstate NY yesterday.
3rd shift were less than helpful as usual.
My IC rep was off for the week so it was tough going with 1st shift as well.
This is one of the things ALL companies need to work on..support for drivers/IC's.
That and realizing that OUR time is worth something..5-6 hours given before detention kicks in is BS.
