OK, everyone asked this question? "where to lease a truck", Everyone's idea of success is different, so here's my final suggestion? if you think it's a good idea to lease a truck from any company, go do it, But please!!! do not come back on this site to complain how you got screwed!! there is a multitude of threads on here about leasing from a company, if you wish not to take the advise? that's fine, just real tired of them coming back with the "don't work for company x" threads

I bring home 165000 after everything every year or more , that's after taxes , insurance , repairs , fuel, etc. So I'm sure it's hard for you to understand that type of money. But there's people making way more than me sir. I've personally never heard a person say, ( I don't wanna make more money because it will be more problems). I'm paid to deal with the problems. The bigger the problem the more money. But I could see where you wouldn't understand, it's like me trying to understand a billionaires problem. Just two different classes. I don't mind running my business all by myself, I don't want nobody holding my hand.. it's the equivalent of paying someone to pay your bills at home,,you can but why would you . That's exactly what your doing when you lease. The wealthy do this when they become wealth, simply because it's just more economical. It's called a concierges , they do all the running errands for the rich.but that's after they get rich
Not when their trying to get rich. I thank you for your offer, but I can give my money away without your help but thank you. But anytime you wanna make some real money, just contact me. I don't even count the gross I just count what I can spend. The rest is irrelevant unless you trying to make it seem like your making more, or a pissing contest. The fact your trying to recruit me, is comical, and sad at the same time lol. It shows your lack of understanding, or your unwillingness, or inability to stand on your own. Your own founder didn't take the path your on lol. He simply got a dump truck saved money brought a over the road truck saved money brought another truck and repeated. So the logic your selling didn't even sit well with your owner. People will read this and understand , you won't cause it's hard to face the truth. In 2006 I went broke, sad to say didn't have a place to stay or food to eat. I didn't focus on what I couldn't do or what seemed impossible. I focus on how to fix it, the answer was not to make more debt but to get out of debt. That's what I did. A lease is just a excuse not to tackle your own problems. So you can inflate all the money you have and material things you say you have. It still doesn't change the fact that you have proven that any of it exists. As for the statment, about prime it's true , yes their like cr england, and a host of other companies out here. Their just as predatory as the next. A driver should be able to drive , make money and have family time. They should not have to stay out a month just to make money.the state of New York even said that a company saying that a driver is contract or independent must be able to pull freight of their choice, or their just an employee. You can't pull a 4 dollar a mile load that you found prime won't let you.

Ah... so now we're at the "mine is bigger than yours" stage of argument. Dude, you're hilarious, especially the part about, "trying to recruit you."

I've been reading this argument between the two of you for the past day as you've been having it and it's funny!

What makes this even more funny is how Tired wrote earlier that a company driver still comes out ahead in another thread about leasing. See the following http://www.thetruckersreport.com/truckingindustryforum/showthread.php?p=4381010

So now I'm having a hard time believing anything Tired says in this post when he contradicts himself in other posts.

As for Ironpony, I've have been reading his posts for almost a year now and his story, ideas, and advice stays consistent.

Everyone that wants to bash Prime because of whatever reason is usually been rejected from Prime, fired by Prime for a good reason, or failed as a drive at Prime. Prime is a company that expects you to work and pays you well for the work. If you are sitting, are late all the time or have a lot of citations, you will not last long at Prime. Since a lot of the drivers, not all but quite a few, who are looking for a free cdl don't have the work ethic required to succeed here or think the rules don't apply to them hate it when Prime holds them to a standard they think is to high and then get kicked to the curb and sit here to complain just how bad Prime is.

Remember... the complaint isn't that little brother failed at leasing, in fact he made money at leasing. He just didn't make enough money.

What was that? You're supposed to net $165,000 after expenses to be worthwhile, is it? This guy is priceless.

My brothers grown I can't make him listen, plus I know he would be OK with buying all sense.and to red and Ricky bobby. Answer this so prime is not telling the truth. Those are off a prime lease statement. Yes you can make 1500 as a company driver with certain companies. Just not prime. But I'm going to post his statement if it's OK with him .but the numbers don't lie .
