Do you really care if the Subway sandwich artist is wearing gloves or not?

Why, Like one of the other posters stated, it helps build up your inmunue system.
You have never traveled outside the U.S. and eaten off of food carts or even restraunts outside the U.S. before have you?
Never gotten sick from food stands, but have from eating at so called clean places in the U.S.

It is kind of true about the whole immunity thing. To this day I will drink out of the garden hose on a hot day outside. If I drop a good piece of food on most grounds I will still eat it after brushing it off as long as I pick it up right away. I do a bunch of things my wife thinks is bad and yet I cannot remember the last time I was sick.

Now my wife is a super sterile freak, she will not even drink from a public water fountain and grits her teeth when I do it. Guess what? She is sick a lot.

If she's really hot , you don't need a glove.
Just what the 5 previous guys thought.
Allays remember the glove , especially if you meet on a subway.

You know I will come in and wipe the big chunks off my hands and make a sandwich but I know where my hands have been. I agree that you need to build up immunity and I am rarely sick but someone that I don't know better wear the gloves. That rubber tasting water is awesome!

The best way to tell if it's a good subway or a bad subway is the prep station and whether they leave the cooler top doors open or closed. If you go in and the place has no customers and those glass cooler tops are left up you can assume that they don't give a #### and that sanitary conditions are also probably not the best.

On the other hand, if there are no customers and the employees leave the cooler tops closed they obviously care enough for that so they probably have sanitary procedures in place. Plus the actual food is being kept refrigerated too.
