    What?????? No duct tape again!!!!!!!!!!
Don't know if anyone has tried this, but I'm sure I wasn't the first.
You break a trailer air line on the road and that should be an easy fix except you don't have a ferrule in stock! Take you're knife and run it along the edge of the duct tape roll making about a 1/2" or so wide strip of duct tape and wrap it around the air hose making a temporary ferrule! Won't last forever but it has gotten me down the road so I could fix it right.

My lawyer's phone numbers on speed dial. Just like American Express. Never leave home without it...

2 key rings, one with house keys the other with car/truck keys, wallet, phone, pocket knife, sometimes a pistol if I'm home, but not all the time.

My huge truckers wallet, but I removed the chain. Then my pre-paid cell phone. I used to take along 2 tin cans and string, but the highway patrol stopped me as someone got tangled up in it. My reading glasses, and a pen, and a pocket note pad. And my car keys, and loose change. I never saw, the need to carry anything even remotely close to a weapon. But maybe my wallet can be considered a dangerous weapon.
You get whacked with that, you're going down.:biggrin_25522:

Does anyone carry a swiss army knife? That might be a thing of the past.

Son of a gun, jd, how could I forget " the handyman's friend". Just don't let a cop see you with duct tape around an air line!

I've only been driving for a year, but I carry a small knife (nothing that attracts attention) my wallet and an extra key on a D ring that never comes off my jeans, why because I will never get out my truck without my jeans ☺

Hi new chavo, Ha, I used to do that too. If I had my pants on, I had the truck key.:biggrin_2559:
