Do you really care if the Subway sandwich artist is wearing gloves or not?

I don't care if they wear them or not. It use to not be mandatory. It is now however.mandatory.

They wash their hands good enough for me.

To answer the cold bin about notnholdig temp the lids have nothing to do with holding temp. It is about saving energy. Once again all subways passed all health inspections with open air servers....

I'm going to go out on a limb here... The 1-5 am restart rule makes my life as a driver a little better, and a happier driver is a safer driver.

We each travel our own road. Someone who is angry or bitter about the little things in life, is probably not a happy driver, so the 1-5 am rule probably doesnt affect them as much.

That being said, have you never visited a grocery store with lidless chest coolers filled with frozen foods?

The lid isn't there to maintain the temperature, it's there for energy efficiency. You can leave your chest cooler open all day and the food in it won't thaw, it just makes the compressor run all day, and increases your electric bill.

And, if you turn your refrigerator on it's back, you will burn out the compressor....

    Just saying...

But don't let the facts get in the way of a good argument.

Just learned about ammonia used as refrigerant a few years ago along with plain old air.....The HARD way.

I was home and down the shop where I park my truck. It was summer and I was in my shorts. He was changing a truck tire and pulled the valve stem out to let the air out. I was standing close to the tire. The air stopped coming out then all of a sudden like a .22 rifle going off I was shot in the leg with an ice ball. Made me bleed a little. My mechanic was telling me how they used all sorts of stuff in the old days if they had to. He said compressing anything and forcing through a small hole will cool down.

Well, I suppose that was preferable to being shot in the ball with an ice leg!:biggrin_25523:

Now there is no way that you didn't know that was coming!:biggrin_2559:

Some of you guys got to man up and embrace that bathroom door handle. Show it that you will not be intimidated.

Seriously as long as there are no open wounds or cuts on your hand then the door handle aint going to hurt you.

Then subway person after handling that cash goes over and makes your sub without washing .

We had a lot of cross contamination of Berry Berry in my family as a kid.probably from all 8 of us kids eating off the same plate and wrestling and snotty noses and such.

Amazing none of us died from it.

Since I grew up and moved out of the house I not seen nor heard of another case of Berry Berry since.

When I was a baby and someone else had a disease like chicken pox all the mothers brought over their babies and exposed them. We did the same thing with our 2 boys. A 102 temp for a baby is nothing. They just brush it off and sleep.

What the heck is Berry Berry?
