usually most companies u have to be "certified" at there warehouse. If u wanna use the power equipment.. Way to make u use the lunper service.. I know when I use to lump at sysco they wouldn't let any drivers use the power equipment even if they where certified since they didn't have a sysco card.. Easy enought to just grab a pump jack but also depends what your unloading n where it is on the trailer.

First real full paycheck back as company was right under 1600 bring home. I had close to 4k for miles. I've been running like crazy, left home today grabbed my load in jacksonville now heading to Newark for wendsday morning drop. I love this company. I feel like I've hit the lotto when pay day comes lol, also bobby sent all the drivers im guessing an xmas card with a 25$ gift card for Walmart. I thought that was really cool. Everything has been going good, I hope yall had a good holiday, stay safe!

The truck is running great. I deffently am liking this one better than the volvo and prostar.
i made it to Newark, NJ, with 17 min before my app time. Now I'm waiting for a door and after I get empty here I have a 3 PU load going to IL. Thank godddd get me outta here. The northeast reminds me of a 3rd world country lol

Given a choice of the three trucks you mentioned, I'd take the Freightliner in a heartbeat. Hands down one of the most comfortable trucks I've ever driven (and I've driven most). As for the northeast, I live here and can certainly understand why you feel the way you do. It sucks here...lol.

I was born and raised in North Jersey, moved to south/central Jersey shore area so I can understand why someone would feel that way T!!!! When you're from there you get to know the do's/don'ts and what roads to use when and where so it's not as bad as most make it out to be, personally I would rather go to NJ then Southern Cali!!!! Now them there is some screwed up roads and peeps if you catch my drift!!! Of course now being in the nature coast area of FloriDUH I also understand why some don't like coming here too!!!!

Hope you have a safe and happy New Year T, and everyone else that follows or pops in here to look around! Be safe, drive especially careful tonight for all the rookies out partying..... In a few weeks I should be out among the crazies again sooooo....

And unfortunately the fireworks have started early, dogs are going nuts and the cops do nothing.... One of the things I could definitely live without, the fireworks stands on every corner.... ##*Ho**S!

Lol! I hear ya man, lastnight was actually pretty calm. Then again I was so tired I could probably sleep through a parade. I did 681 miles today, I was hoping for 700 but I'm beat! I actually have some time to chill on this load, it delivers to Joliet IL, tomorrow between 6-8:30 am. So I get to sleep in! I hardly know how to do that anymore lol. I had a little free time earlier and washed the truck, polished up the wheels so it looks good for the next storm I come across, but I enjoy cleaning it at the end of the day, if I have some time that is... I get crazy restless at the end of the day, no matter how tired I am.
After tomorrow I'll have just under 2k so far, im hoping to get atleast 2800 before Monday but we shall see! Jim that's awesome man! Is there an exact date? And are you going OTR?

Glad to hear the miles are still good, this is a normal slow time so anything that keeps you moving is great!!! 700 miles is always my benchmark but the runs have to support that too...

Otr for sure, exact date not so much, talking to a few companies and might be teaming with a friend of mine, he's rather unhappy where he is and his present co-driver has bought a day cab and will be leaving Feb 1st I think, he's leery of who they might put him with and the management has changed and he's just tired of the new BS!!! Either way it will be fun, going for the 4 million mile career, figure I need to average 125,000 for 3.5 yrs to get there and that will put me at 60, old enough to slow down I think!!! I might have a shot with an over dimensional company too, then the average will probably drop some because of size/weight/length restrictions but hopefully not!!!

Keep up the good work and I'll let you know when and where I end up!!

Thats awesome jim!! Glad to hear your coming back out... It's gotta be exciting! I hope everything is all good with your family aswell! I think over dimensional is awesome! Every once in awhile I think about flatbed work, but then when I step out of my truck to get fuel, or the hard work of opening my trailer doors I quickly say F THIS! lol. Who knows maybe one day, I'm pretty energetic specially at the end of the day... Probably a good reason my truck stays clean. That's an awesome achievement, 4 million miles. I'd say get yourself a sticker made and put it on the side of your truck. I have respect for ANY driver that I see with the "million miler" sticker, nomatter who they drive for. Surprisingly enough I see lots of werner trucks with them, and think to myself wow... You put up with werner for atleast 10 years? You deserve more than a sticker!
