Thank you. That answers my question fully. While I could carry in some states, getting out of PA would be illegal. This is what actually piqued my curiosity. In this crazy world today, you just never know if something like this is a joke, or if it would gain "legs" among the idiots out there...

I dont drive the bay area these days, closest my runs take me is Dublin and Livermore but I do get into the LA area often and we have a couple stores that require delivery before dark because of it being a bad area

I have carried legally for over 15 years, and can count on maybe one hand the times I've went somewhere unarmed. I won't advise anyone to break any laws, but I choose to make sure I can defend my life anywhere I happen to be. YMMV.

A couple of years ago, I was witness to (ie, 2 vehicles behind) a bad rollover accident while under a load on a rural 2 lane hwy. I stopped to check on the occupants, then called it in to 911 and my boss, then waited on LEO to arrive. After giving my description of the accident, he asked if I would mind being put down as a witness. I said yea, not a problem. As it had been raining that day, I had left my wallet (and my weapon) back in the truck, so as we were walking to get my DL for the deputy, I said "I just want to let you know that I am a CWP holder and have a weapon in my truck" (in FL there is no law that you have to inform unless LEOs ask)
He gave ma a funny look, so I asked him if there was a problem.....He shook his head no and said "Nope, not at all. We just all assumed that all truckers are armed...." :biggrin_2559:

Im with the cranky old guy. It's laughable and scary to think these guys may be carrying firearms. I'm sure most would shoot themselves b4 they can hand over the 7 bucks and 28 cents in their wallet and the 12 dollar timex. Watch. Where do you people come from really!!
