Quick question that may have been answered already... Can you drive your personal vehicle to Springfield when you begin training?

 

yes and they pay millage I think it's only .10cpm but if you have a prius it will cover it all... Hahaha

Dude, Don't fall for that line that you are to far way. Im outside of Reno,NV and they never had a problem getting me home. In fact I would normally deadhead out of home 200 miles to get a load, alot of the time to ID to pick up spuds.

 

I talked to Steve L. this evening... they have Boise (of all places) on the do not hire from list... along with the Dakotas, Montana and lower Florida. No shippers close enough now. Ya know, I did pick up onions and potatoes from around the Ontario OR area at one time...

 

Does anyone know if they currently have a functioning truck wash at the new SLC yard?

 

No... that's a "this spring" project. I'd do my biz, and then head over to the Sapp Bros.

 

I was told it was "supposed" to be together when they bought it.

They got it with all the pieces & parts inside, and a set of assembly directions written in Chinese, complete with indecipherable pictures & diagrams.

 

I was told by my recruiter... "I can be hired and train, but have to go as a L/O and not a company driver". Will talk more with her after the New Year Break and make sure.
