Where did you buy the fuel and what is the outside temperature?

More than likely your tanks are contaminated. Could be algae or asphaltenes. Have your tanks inspected, determine what you got , and treat accordingly.

As in, what state did you buy your fuel ... You may have a gelling problem, or you may have just got a bad tank of fuel ... it happens sometimes ...

Hi nsxftw, actually, 3 K miles isn't that bad. Probably moisture. My old BC Cummins, the fuel drew off the bottom of the tank, where all the water would stand. Cummins returned a lot of warm fuel to the tank it drew from, and when the fuel would cool off, condensation would form, and sink to the bottom of the tank. I tried everything, short of a stand pipe, those water dog things on a string, even would siphon it out with a big syringe. I always kept an extra filter or 2, and a little fuel in a milk jug, as sometimes I'd change a fuel filter every other week. Shine a flashlight in the draw tank, and see if you see a puddle of water at the bottom.

    baha Thanks this.

I had a similar problem in fact my filter clogged after 1000 miles. The problem is dirty fuel. You need to pinpoint where you bought the fuel and not buy anymore there. You will have to keep replacing the filters until the bad fuel is gone. Some fuel stops dont change the filters on their pumps frequently enough

You do know 15 F degrees is below freezing.water freezes at 32 F..are you sure the fuel temp is 15F ? Fuel expands and contracts at 60 F and that is the volume and temp that you are charged for per gallon at the pumps..

I'd bet you've got an algae problem, I went through a filter at 1300 miles, put some Power Service BIO CLEAN and the problem went away.
