promises MARCI H. made: No NE freight, New truck, APU, .36cpm over 2800 miles per week.
Promises MARCI H. kept:..............................................................................................0
To top it off they have refused to pay me anything for the miles driven and put on my DAC that I had multiple complaints and abandoned load. I was there one week, brought the truck in for repairs and turned in the keys. All this after being sent to Pa,Nj and Nc.

What are you talking about? I work for Specialized Express and I have not yet found anything you said to be true. They assigned me a new 2014 Volvo, as a matter of fact I picked it up at the dealer in Columbus OH. and I get paid .36 a mile as agreed when I negotiated with Marci before committing myself to the company. and I do get about 2800 to 3200 miles or more per week. And about having to get loads that take you to the east coast. well all I could say is that it comes with the territory!! the longer you work as a professional driver you will come to realize and hopefully embrace the fact that the loads pretty much dictate where you are going. its not that easy getting the perfect load that will get you and the carrier a win win situation. a lot goes into getting a load, not all loads pay the same and not all loads take you to where you want your truck to be get the next load. there are some black holes for loads and you may get stuck without a load for days or may have to deadhead over 200 miles for your next load all of that costs the carrier money. Geez I can go on forever with this subject. its obvious that you are a company driver and were never an owner operator nor been in charge of a fleet. The carrier cannot afford to have his truck sit waiting for the perfect load to please the company driver (employee). he has to keep his truck moving. that is how he pays his truck payments, insurances, uncle SAM, overhead costs, operating cost, your salary etc, etc. the list goes on. I understand that being a company driver you don't really get to see all the logistics behind operating a trucking company and most drivers I meet on the road don't care to know either. they only care about themselves. they are not team players. I've worked for several companies as a driver and as a fleet manager. I've been fortunate enough to see how dynamic a trucking company really is from both sides of the fence. do yourself a favor, try the other persons boots before you cast judgement and do your diligence before committing yourself to another company. if you'd like, you can contact me and I can email you a list of questions that I found important to ask a recruiter. like I mentioned earlier I can go on forever on this subject. feel free to drop me a line with any questions. Good Luck and be safe on the road. Remember, Nothing we do as a Professional Driver is worth hurting ourselves or hurting others. Frank

Its almost ironic that this is to be my first post.
I also work for specialized. They have never treated me bad or wrong. Pay is always great and miles and loads are spot on every week.
I see lots of driver wannabes come and go.
This is a company that doesn't hold a hand. You gotta know your stuff. You can not B.S. your way through this company.
I have seen Marci take a chance on a couple drivers only to have to eventually let them go. It happens for good reason.
We have some of the best equipment and if anything needs fixed its a single call and it gets done.
Yes there are a couple bad apples time to time. They are let go promptly.
Marci is no nonsense and don't put up with b.s. you make lots of miles and money here. Plain and simple.
Over the years I have worked for quite a few companies. This is by far the best and its small at 100 trucks. This is last trucking job I will ever have. Period.
The few bad reviews are merely drivers (1 or 2) that either washed out or got caught trying to B.S they way through.
If you can't cut it you will be found out and usually it will be another driver that finds you out.
98% of us are pulling down 3800+ miles a week and living large with specialized loads and accounts. The other 2% just don't know how or want to work and truck.
Take it from me. If Marci was a bad seed or this was a bad company. I myself wouldn't be there.
If a driver truly wants a great experience. This is the place to try to be with.
However. You better know your stuff, have your act together, not mind elogs , (I love em) run legal at all times. This company does not hold hands or babysit.
What they do do is , keep you loaded and rolling. Plain and simple.
No I am not a spokesman, I am an actual employee. And I like it here.
I am a driver. But I run my truck like a business . that's the only way to do it here.
That's all I got to say about this subject. But at least my testimony is on record.Jenrik Thanks this. -
Welcome back, Marci. I'm sorry, I meant hvacker

You demented if you think I am Marci or anyone. I am a driver. Pm me of you want, I will give you my contact info and you can talk to me in person.
I am a longtime member here under an old username I can't access anymore. Been a member here since 2001.
At 63 years old and 14 years of trucking as your profile states I would think you have a tad bit more tact. Obviously that's why you couldn't cut it at this company
Sorry. Stbu -
