To answer question 2 kinda. I hadn't had any issues with the maps in Canada. Though I don't know that I have been any real challenging places with it up there. I do like how copilot displays truck stops more than my Garmin up there as well. Also being that I don't have a Canadian data plan, it is very nice having the full offline maps that you can zoom in and out of kind of like google with no satellite picture.

I deleted the maps and app. Reinstalled. Working better

I'm guessing S & T was discontinued, Because maps is included in windows 10.
rank Thanks this. -
I just installed windows 10 on 2 of my computers that were running 8.1. They do have a map program built in that allows you to download the map files(4Gig+) to the hard drive for use without an internet connection. It lacks much of the functionality MS streets offered. You cant simply click on the map and rout to there. You need an address to type in. No more dragging to change routes. Not even as close to being as good.rank Thanks this.

there is nothing good about MS . Streets and trips was the only thing they made that was worth while and they dumped it . I still use it a lot . May not have the new streets but most streets have been around a very long time
