Just bought a new rig. 2001 KW W900. Came with a ponypack that is non operational. Previous owner said when she had it serviced the shop overfilled the oil and blew all the seals out. Engine still runs like a champ, just won't hold oil.
Im not familiar with this brand at all, is it even worth fixing? I've read a lot of bad reviews online about the manufacturer.

Unless your up for paying $7,000+ for another APU I would fix it up. That has a diesel Kubota in it. Darn good engine. I would spend the money and have it fixed up for sure. Those twin cylinder engines go forever.

Same thing. Have mine since 2006. When it breaks, I fix it. Panel rots out, I replace it. Mine looks brand new. In fact. I'm taking a load right now to Texas so I can drive 50 miles to a Rigmaster dealer to get a broken bolt replaced on my AC compressor, PM, new belts and a capacitor replaced in the generator head.

Panels rotting out on those things are one problem i think they all share in common. I cant understand why they build such an expensive unit and not put them in an aluminum enclosure. I have a pro heat unit on my truck and it was rotted to death, second enclosure on it to. I found a guy online making fiberglass direct bolt on replacements so I picked one up. A bit pricey but im happy with it.

Steer clear of the HP 2000 bought one in August and had nothing but problems from day one.Ran into a few other drivers approx. 5 so far on the road and we are putting together something to try to get some sort of return on these things. Its sad that a company like this will not stanf behind there product.Just look at there reviews and you be the judge. We all made the same mistake and are all having the same issues and get the same response on any warranty work,no one wants these things and no one will work on them.Good luck
