So! Hi guys im buying a new truck,I have been approved for a loan from the bank and leasing so if anyone knows where their is a good company that i can lease onto and ,I have asked a few people in my family who are drivers? They all say just go to the bank because the intrest rate would be lower so im looking a Freightliner Coronado Link will show you the truck but it is 470 horsepower 10 speed freightliner coronado! It is a florida truck so i know that it wouldnt be a hill pulling truck but once i get it im going to get new bullgears change the tires and put aftermarket detriot parts on the engine and im going to turn up the torque and hp. A family member told me that i wouldnt need 500 hp unless im pulling produce and once i get my truck if i do buy from the bank im going to landstar to lease a reefer so i can pull produce and pay the truck off after i pay it off and maybe buy my own reefer utility but heres the link.
Im looking for the ones that look like classic xl"s

Do an oil sample and if you can get a printout on the ECM and everything thing checks out why not. The coronado is freight liners best.i have a 2007 century with 817000 pulling flatbed hauling mainly oilfield pipe. The truck has been good to me .

Seems over priced to me, I bought my 07 century in 2010 for $34k with 570,000 miles. But I guess the truck prices are going up.
The important question would be is the engine an 06 or 07, makes a lot of difference. -
An OTR truck is not like buying a car. Where you buy it from has little to no relevance to where the truck has been operating.
Also,.. having done reefer work myself, 99% of the time I was loaded near gross. Often had to cut back on fuel just to stay under 80k.
Produce is seasonal,.. also if you follow the markets and almanac you should know last year was a dry year, low yields. Not sure how good produce will be in 2015. 2015 supposed to be a rough year for commodities in general. Choose your market wisely.
As for the truck, get maintenance records, oil sample, test drive the truck and go over every inch of it until you are satisfied or if not,.. walk away.
I have an 05 Columbia with Pre DPF CAT C15. Mechanically the truck has been very good to me. Good luck with what ever you choose.
