Well, I ran with one in California doing 65... So I'd say around there... If at all.country4life Thanks this.

Thanks for the info Racer26. My dad drives for them as an O/O but he wasn't sure about the company trucks.
Perpetual2019 Thanks this. -
Pretty sure 70... we work with them and haul their loads a lot. Ours are governed at 65 and they're always passing at around 70.
Perpetual2019 and country4life Thank this. -
Thank you for the info daddy2twins, 65mph to me is ideal for trucking (although I've worked for fleets that only run 63mph). If the truck does 70mph, that's just extra icing on the cake! Keep on trucking and drive safe.

Yeah I was dreading 65 mph coming out of a 75 mph truck but I enjoy everyone else working to pass me while I just ride. Lol I got used to it quick.
-
I agree with you on that, lol. Besides, most of the time when those fast trucks past you up on the Hwy, you really end up passing them back up when they are getting off the exit ramp about 20miles from where they initially passed you...I STILL to this day haven't figured that one out, how is that possible?
-
Myself, when I pass someone I try to do it in a quick manner and get back over then let the cruise go back to doing its thing. Maybe those fast trucks aren't really getting that far ahead of you.
-
You might be on to something there....haven't thought about that one

I worked for them and they are at 68 but some of their run down trucks go 70-75 due to they are out the door tractors ... They are going to freight liners now due to Volvo constant maintenance issues
Perpetual2019 and wesland24 Thank this.
