Just don't speed Georgia's finest love to hide all over those back roads. Even in the middle of the night lol. Especially in the speed zones through town.

I was hoping to start next week strong but my fuel filter decided it wanted to start to clog today. So Hopefully I can try and change that tomorrow. I have to track down some filters first. I'm up in Pittston pretty much nothing up here unless Petro has some. I'm considering having them pull my preplan and just go home early to handle that then come back out on Thursday or Friday.

Petro should have those. Also any KW shop will stock them and a fuel filter change is like 10 minutes work why DH or bobtail from Pittston to Baltimore just for the fuel filter change..... But hey it's your choice.

The 680 I drove last year had a fuel line clog and I had to get a tow to the Kenworth dealer. It was right after I purchased fuel the one and only time at Love's. I've heard other drivers say that the bio diesel Love's sells can cause problems. I don't know. Coincidence?

I have a load already going to York. I'm not dh that far. No kw up this way the next opportunity to change it would be in York after the delivery tomorrow morning. Or Wednesday if I hold on to my plan because it's cut a bit tight. Petro didn't have any.

I stick exclusively with pilot. I doubt it was fuel from any one place filter has about 13k on it.

Just a suggestion buy and keep a couple extra fuel filters as well as fuel water separator filters in the truck at all times.

ew2108, knuckledragger and Dinomite Thank this.

Bro you aren't a company driver any more... time to break out the coveralls, buy a little bucket and filter wrench and get dirty!! No need to go home for a fuel filter. Check the separator first since it's first in line to clog before the fuel filter.

On your way to York swing through Carlisle, there is a KW dealer just down the street from the OC. Then you can go to Carlisle to change your filter and dispose of the old one properly at the shop, they'll let you throw it in their drain pan for filters.

    knuckledragger and 91B20H8 Thank this.
