Yep you can see it coming, as the company gets a little bigger, was on the list to help the LTL side when they needed it, did that one time when I found out PTP would not get payed the same as LTL when doing LTL work, then asked to have my name removed from that list.

About 2 years ago if you did not know to call in to get the ok for the $15-30 for shuttling the trailers from the rail yard back to Heartland yard, you of Course would lose out in pay. It was a very quiet issue that you had to know about-but when that happens I always call in for the more money, for more work.

They also have the 4 hour rule for waiting, getting loaded etc, at that point it seems you will have less resistance in getting something for your troubles.

Yeah anything outside of the ordinary I always call for the money. Haven't been turned down yet although I did have to make the case for one. Other than that one they have always paid the extra without question and paid that one too after I laid it out for them.

they told us we could volunteer for those LTL runs too but I passed right out of the gate lol my lumping days are long gone. We have a pretty full LTL staff out of advance though so it really never comes up anyway. I did get the full LTL pay for the one unload I got stuck on but only because it was their screwup and I should have never been put on the trip to start with. It came out of Leesport.

Almost forget to call in and check the dispatch.

Brandon for Tuesday noon drop. Guess I get to sleep in tomorrow and still get down there around 8-9am Tuesday.

Well I have to do a DOT phy first thing in the morning, then start rolling to Columbia SC.

It seemed that it was a little messy the first week after the holidays this year don't really know why for us down here. But its over I think, looks like it is back to the norm for us which is fine. We have our drivers meeting Feb 28, trying to talk them into doing a dinner cruise, I think they have canned the Orlando thing.
