It's not the oil pressure sensor, its the oil pressure at the VVA, on my BXS (1,030,000 mi.) I had the actuator relay and a couple of connectors on the wiring harness (weak link) replaced.

Try unplugging sensor plug take a multimeter and ground the black lead then turn the key on check for a 5 volt signal. It may be around 4.85 or so but no lower than 4.5. Just check all three wires until you find the 5 volt signal wire. I have found oil pressure leaks under the valve covers at the vva supplys and also have found cracked vva housings.

a friends MXS had code 95 coming up all the time. after checking all the usual( replace sensor, wiring, connectors ) found # 2 accuator solonoid rocking a lttle. pulled it apart and everything looked fine . wiped mating surfaces off reinstalled and tightened til solonoid was not rocking and no more code 95. oil was leaking out between mating surfaces dropping oil psi under load.
