Well if I am lucky enough, I will only have 1 more truck, then retire -and I really don't want a kenworth, I am still tickled with what I have==

Yes i have a 2012 truck. 496000 on the clock. Had a broken exhaust pipe yesterday and shop had to order it. Ran to syracuse and back this afternoon in a junk ryder truck and they were pulling my truck out as i showed up to the shop. Exhaust was fixed and got some gently used steer tires put on that they took off a truck that was being traded. One thing is for sure volvo has some junk bottom end trucks, i was glad to get back in to my truck. pretty good miles so far this week sitting in holland head back to leesport in am.

You gotta love it when you get into a tight blindside hole then sit there for an hour and a half and nothing happens. Then go in and ask and they not only forgot you were there......because they mistakenly put you in a door that's blocked off......but they also want you to move one door to the left beside a truck that's already in a door. Ugh. Took me 15 minutes to walk it left right left right in that confined space to get in the door they actually wanted me in.

Preplanned to leesport once i get to advance but won't make it very far that way today now that I just wasted right at 2 of it from check in till now and then I guess back home. Should make for a decent week.

Ah yes the old we forgot you were here routine, nice--LOL

Well I got out of Heartless yard about 1045, on the please call back in 30 mins, please call back in 15 min. and please call back in 15 mins, nice

Well got a load form Quaker oats, around the corner about 12 miles down west on 20, preloaded, got in and out of there pretty fast, and then----down the road on 85 heading to Sam;s dist micro center in Charlotte NC, I scaled out just before the GA scale at the SC border, and I was 440 over on the trailer axles, and I already had the axles all the way back 48 ft trailer--I ran with it, got threw the 2 scales fine, and drove around the NC scale's, wasn't over gross just axle. Made it there drop and hook, deadhead to Advance for my home load, but It wont be loaded until 0540 in the next morning, and I will have 5 hrs left to run, I seem to be running into that alot lately in Advance, just recently.

Well not going to push it, should still make it home Friday afternoon, did talk to the load planner, and they said this week was hell for them, next week should be more normal====we shalL see==! LOL

Will have about 2600 miles, 5 d/h, did start late this week, because of the dot clinic I was at in Tampa was over flowing with injury's, and 7 of us had to wait for 4 hrs, surprised I passed the blood pressure cuff===LOL

That's ###### up you got out of Atlanta before I did lol

after all that, they only put 8 pallets on me.

Those Quaker loads are always heavy especially on the tail. I've been there a lot before I came here. That was my trip home last week. Was completely out of time when I picked it up so hurried back to the heartless yard and went to bed knowing it felt like I was dragging an anchor behind me. First pass over the scale after I woke up next morning was 37,900 on the tail. To say I had it a little stretched out to get it evened up would be an understatement but blew right through all the scales up to SAMs.

Anyway.......got to advance around 1830 and did my drop.........I guess you were one of the 2 parked there I forgot to get your new truck number this morning. then over to granite falls to pick up foam going to Leesport. Made it to the ta in mocksville before the clock said stop. It was there or the yard. Surprised I got a spot in here this late but squeezed into a tight one.

If they bounce me back from Leesport will get in noonish Saturday.

pretty solid week by the time I get in tomorrow noonish.

    3112 miles, 6 loads, 11 drop/hook, one live

leepsort looked like a ghost town when I was in and out this evening. don't think I've seen that yard that empty since I've been here.

no plan for Monday but suits me this week. probably get a plan sometime tomorrow if not then i'll just sleep in monday
