He can have the dac report corrected if they did not have in the hire on papers that you have to give them 2 weeks notice. Sure, he should have given notice. But he returned truck to their property.

 

I think the issue lies more with him dumping the truck at the terminal and finding out he "quit" when the next company called to verify his employment.

 

Any info on decker flatbed???

 

I'm on the flatbed side. Stay away, we are starving as is. 1800 miles a week average. We lost a lot of loads to cheaper haulers.

 

What fleet are you on? I spoke to one on the western fleet says he's getting 2200 to 2500 a week

 

Western fleet flatbed is going away. I'm on the Midwest fleet

 

It's a little late for staying away. Elkhart to be the barrier of bad news but freight is dropping in most places. I mean even the brokers will tell you rates are at the same price they were at on 9/11. It's an election year and the economy is not so good. I'm curious as to what to expect in orientation. My first flatbed job outside of the field moving rigs. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks

 

Even target announced closing 15 stores today. Lol the economy is on the down side again. Everyone just needs to hang on it will come back up. Going on southeast fleet here. Any info pls

I noticed that also but the two near me that are closing have very low sales and both have walmarts witin 5 mins of them
