You're limited as to what you can haul in a straight truck. Furniture store/appliance store type delivery, maybe ?

are you planning to stay local or otr?
if your looking to stay local i hope you know some company's that operate straight trucks in your area that hires owners. i think most that kind of work they just buy there own trucks. i may be wrong though.
expidited freight comes to mind panther comes to mind, you are a bit limited with a straight truck. -
I'm in a cdl class now and a guy getting his class b said he was going to work for a guy to drive a sleeper straight truck that hauled for Fed Ex. Not sure how that works but may be worth checking into. Good luck!

There's not a huge market for 24' straight truck o/o looking to lease to another company.
box trucks are cheap enough that most companies that need them will buy their own and hire a driver for them.
With that said, assuming you're properly permitted with your own authority and insurance, look into expedited air freight, you might be able to find some loads coming out of air freight that need to be rushed to their consignee.
Furniture/appliance as stated before
local moving
