Hey MadMax17!!! I hope you have Sherri as your dispatcher because she's the best. They probably will send you down for a drivers work ready physical and if you don't have your Dot physical card you might get one, because the company won't pay for it or one time they didn't.You will have to go to orientation but where they will send you I have no idea, but orientation is fun and they will take you out to real nice places to eat and they will pick up the tab. You will have your on hotel room. Good thing about J&M that they don't only do frac sand, they also haul calcium, lime and flour. If it slow down you might want to see if you can haul something else if you do you only have to get your tank wash out.The big thing on pneumatics is to watch your psi,if you don't you can get clog up or worst.I always kept mine at 15-18 psi,but some customers like it lower, because they have weak pipes or tanks. But that's only customers that store their products.Fracing is way different. This is the easiest trucking job I ever had. It's easier then being a vacuum driver for Nabors well service in Iraan Tx. Let me know how things are going. Have a bless time there.

i know you asked about TX, but here in se NM we have red leases....where they have to mask up. there are several 3rd party companies around here who do the safety training for red leases...

Must be talking about 4 corners area or Hobbs area? I grew up in Albuquerque, and was thinking about driving on a rotation in NM (4corners or Hobbs) once I fulfill my contract with Prime. Would rather work an oilfield rotation than stay OTR... but working as a Safety-Man would be good too... whatever makes the most $$

As of H2s its pretty bad around garden city, however most 'newer' batteries have computer screen where you can get the levels from, not the most accurate but save from a little sulfur sniff.
And for the rest, only time will tell what happens because no one is able to predict a single thing.

I have seen these oil field fluctuations before... seems to happen about every 6 years or so... everyone looses.... but the consumers at the pumps like the lower gas price... guess it goes hand-in-hand... loose job but pay less at the pump.

already choking back the wells in wyoming... which means less production, less work. and YES they do shut wells in when the price gets low enough the well is no longer profitable.

My buddy hauling crude for QC in OK hasn't worked in almost a month and his company is starting to lay off people even when they got new contracts for Jan 1. All sectors are being affected.
