It's all the big CAT power that got the 12 year old rear. Seriously though tangerine he has a good point. I love that part of it to though, putting a diff and power divider in a truck stop parking lot with the neighbors saying wow check that poor idiot out. I wouldn't park my 359 for 3 new ones but it's not always easy, however anything worth doing never is

I agree Cranky. And finding a guy that knows his way around a B model CAT isn't easy. It doesn't seem like like that long ago when I started they were the cutting edge. Now nobody even keeps a 9/16 wrench in there box.

    tsavory Thanks this.

I remember when i was growing up everyone had 71 series Detriots
    fishermen, truck drivers and farmers
and all the parts were interchangeable from a WW11 grey marine to a new one
now even the same model year isn't the same

on this freightliner the electric window switches all 3 are different
so when the window went down on the drivers side I couldnt even pull the one out of the passenger side to get it up
    I hate engineers

I know the older trucks will need work . I am familiar around tools , but I do have another idea to .

I had talked to the owner and they have some older w9's they would sell off that have c15's in them and our shop can work on those as long I could get a good deal labor for being leased onto them.

I got a few things to think about ...

    I appreciate all advice !!!!
