You want to feel important about yourself by becoming a DOT officer? You don't have much self esteem, it seems. Becoming a DOT officer won't help with that, lmao.

yeah, that's right buddy. I have low self esteem.
Whoever said 50k is not likely; that's about what I make right now as a driver, and I think DOT inspector is a Caltrans job? This would be close to the SF Bay Area so I bet 5k a month isn't unrealistic. Really I'm just looking to transfer my experience into a more professional field. -
30k in Arkansas is like 250k in these parts hahaha...
-
That's going to be a heck of a commute from Seattle!
-
Really where? Do they have shoes there? Is it true you need a diff one for left and right feets
-
It's not as bad as a commute over the Altamont, trust me...ramblingman, gpsman and Big Don Thank this.

"a professional field" i guess that says a lot. lmao

Mods! Change this...person's name to Arnold. Benedict Arnold. (Sorry, couldn't resist.)
Pull into a weigh scale and ask. Hell, they may even hire you on the spot. I know state/federal positions are always hard up for people, just enquire locally. (I'm actually serious about that.)
