Yeah I could scale 47,000 lbs on my old Utility but really almost never do loads that heavy. 45,500 is about the max weight with vast majority of van loads. Look at the pic of the rear door frame again. That gusset on the bottom corner is at least 1" thick of stainless steel. You won't see a vanguard, etc, etc built like that. That's why it weighs more but will last forever.
check it out - new equipment

I do like extra lights but I'm not hacking into the harness lol. It just has basic light package but they are all very bright LED's looks good. Even has a new safety feature I never saw on trailers before - a "third brake light" - the 3 marker lights at the top of the door are brake lights also. Only upgrades it's getting is a hubodometer which will be here Thursday and 8 new flow thru valve stem caps which went on this morning.

Ok I see. Mine had about 3" of clearance. I clocked it a little and put it to 1/2".

Congrats! I hope it won't be long before I can follow in your footsteps once again...
Did you haul many vented loads with the Utility? I've only done one VV load so far and am not sure its worth the option...rollin coal Thanks this.
