Hi, when I signed on with Schneider a year ago, part of the benefits was some kind of CDL legal assistance. My pay stubbs label this as "CDL Legal". I cannot find the paperwork about this program that I received on my hire date. What is it called? Has anyone used the service? And if you have the contact info, man, that would be great.

You should be able to get the info from Schneider benefits department. They call it "CDL protector" and it's like $7/week or something like that. Personally, I'd just save the money and if you get a ticket (moving violation) of any kind you can just hire a traffic attorney yourself for $100-$200 or whatever it works out to. Unless you plan on getting multiple moving violations a year I don't feel it's worth it. And no I've never had the service so I'm not trying to speak from experience about how the service is.

I've never signed up for those "legal services" that get offered to truck drivers, and have yet to regret it. I'm more than happy to keep my money, and work as hard as I can to stay safe as a driver instead.
Shaggy Thanks this. -
Any Legal Services they pitch for Truckers is a Rip Off, keep your money in your pocket, don't be one of those Suckers that are born every minute.

Id keep my money when i worked for sni i got a redlight ticket for going through a yellow light and that did not help me i just paid the 85.00 and was done with it another driver had a car pull out infront of him and he hit the car it did not help him either

yeah just go ahead and send them free easy money that's why they keep doing what they doing cuz I know people won't stand up and fight nothing like easy money

So it's lawyer services on a retainer? I guess it would make sense if you are 2,000 miles away. Only thing sucks is it's a gamble for those bogus tickets. I should of became a lawyer, get paid no matter what lol
